Thank you for considering our venue for your event. Below is all the essential information about hiring the New Brighton Surf Life Saving Club for functions, weddings, workshops, and more. Our impressive new clubrooms combine state of the art facilities with a stunning view, which cannot be found anywhere else in the county, looking out across Pegasus Bay and the New Brighton Pier. Our Surf Club comes equipped with kitchen facilities and bar, to cater for any event you may have in mind. It also includes lift access, so all guests enjoy the amazing views.
Main Function Area – 153 m2
This premium space includes access to the main balcony along the building’s frontage, providing uninterrupted views of the New Brighton Pier and surrounding beach, as well as the wider Pegasus Bay area. Access is also included to the landscape deck at the rear of the building. This space also comes equipped with a kitchen, bar, lift for disability access and an AV system with multiple TV screens.
Comfortably seats up to 80 people, or 100 standing. Max 130.

Pricing
Daytime hire (Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5pm): $80/hour
Night functions (5pm - 11pm): $1500 per hire, plus $300 refundable bond
Weddings (evening before, day of, till 12pm next day): $2700, plus $300 refundable bond
We offer discounted rates for not-for-profit groups and multi day hire.
All pricing is inclusive of GST.
From mid-Nov to early March, lifeguards are on site weekends 11am–5pm.
